Franklyn Zhu

Director of Data Collection

Franklyn, originally from Beijing, studied Computer Science & Psychology at Yale and was a member of the Yale Spizzwinks (?). His interests span product design, web development, statistics, and Italian Opera. Franklyn helped develop AVA, the Automated Virtual Assessment, a scalable system for collecting wellbeing data in schools around the world. He is leading all data collection systems with our international school partners around the world in order to continually keep tabs on the integrity of the Four Pillars of Wellbeing Curriculum. His journey with wellbeing started off as a purely academic and intellectual pursuit — but quickly morphed as he realized that logic was not the only tool to approach the world. He hopes to eventually find his own understanding of contentment.
