Marla Vildostegui

Early Primary Teacher and
National Pilot School SPOCK

Marla has been an Early Primary educator for 16 years and is currently a Kindergarten teacher and Division Leader at Corbett Preparatory School of IDS in Tampa, Florida. Being a mother of two, a teenager and a pre-teen, Marla’s personal practice with wellbeing has given her perspective when she has needed it the most and reaffirmed that indestructible wellbeing brings lasting benefits that begin with turning our attention inward. The implementation of emotional intelligence and wellbeing provides students with a sustainable gift that guides them on this path. Marla is interested in helping her students to investigate self-awareness, become less emotionally reactive, be better equipped to handle stressors and triggers, and be more accepting of others. Currently, she is leading the Four Pillars of Wellbeing Rollout and is the Single Point of Contact & Knowledge (SPOCK) at our National Pilot School.
