Janine Edge, MA(CANTAB), MSc

Strategic advisor

Janine is an Edmund Hillary Fellow focusing on well-being and insight education. She is Chair of the Scientific and Medical Network Trust, an international forum for transformative learning, and Council Member of the New Zealand Peace Foundation which provides training in conflict resolution for schools, families and businesses.

Formerly Janine was a Partner of a London City law firm and Fellow in Organisational Psychology on an MBA. She now provides her skills solely for impact enterprises and in 2020 she was given her Edmund Hillary Fellowship for incubating solutions to global problems from Aotearoa, New Zealand. Twenty years of working in the mainstream corporate world and a bout of burnout has given Janine personal experience of workplace mental health issues. She has taught mediation skills in schools for over a decade, both in New Zealand and the UK, and so has also witnessed first-hand the well-being challenges facing young people. Her qualifications in the UK include an MA in Philosophy and Law from Cambridge University and an MSc in Consciousness and Transpersonal Psychology from Liverpool John Moore University. She is a professional mediator and trained in many methods for handling conflict peacefully.
