Li-Anne is fascinated by the beauty and complexity of the human condition, and derives great joy from knowing we are all connected. Singapore-born, she lived and worked in New York and London as an investment banker and independent filmmaker.
Her films and documentaries focus on marginalised characters and the triumph of the human spirit. Her work has exhibited at over 50 festivals including Tribeca Film Festival, Telluride Film Festival and The Smithsonian. She has worked with artists including Ai Weiwei, Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn.
Li-Anne currently lives in Singapore and splits her time between investments and art. She founded an art collective Naked Optimism in support of the Contentment Foundation. Previously she donated paintings to support charitable organisations Club Rainbow in Singapore and Children of the Mekong in London. Li-Anne has an MBA from Stanford and an MFA from Columbia.
