Lisa Flynn is the Co-founder and Chief Culture Officer at the Contentment Foundation, where she champions an extraordinary community experience. Lisa has been contributing since the inception of the foundation during the first version of the Four Pillars of Wellbeing Curriculum. She knows that practicing even one pillar is enough to change a life. She has witnessed this happen again and again in herself and in others. Lisa passionately affirms that responsibly bringing this wisdom to humanity starts with the team and culture behind the work; nurturing their minds, bodies, and spirits. She believes that what we create in the outer world is a reflection of our inner world. Lisa brings her experience as a former researcher at the Yale Center of Emotional Intelligence where she co-authored Creating Emotionally Intelligent Schools with RULER (2016) among other peer-reviewed publications in the fields of social psychology, emotional intelligence, and education. Lisa is also trained as a vedic meditation and hatha yoga teacher and has facilitated over 50 week-long yoga retreats rated among the most popular offered in Bali. Lisa graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
