Madina Knight is the Director of Kindtype, a New Zealand-based communications agency that works exclusively with purpose-led organisations.
With a heart for social justice and a passion for sharing a good story, Madina has spent the last decade working in media and communications, helping non-profits, government agencies and social enterprises amplify their message.
Throughout her career, Madina had the privilege of visiting far-flung places and sharing stories of hope & transformation, even in the darkest of situations. Like human trafficking survivors in Nepal becoming entrepreneurs, or people in Vanuatu rebuilding their homes and livelihoods following a deadly cyclone or warring factions in Myanmar reconciling after years of conflict and working together to address a local drug epidemic.
Madina combines the power of story with her expertise in strategy, marketing and communications to run several hugely successful campaigns for clients like the New Zealand Ministry for the Environment, Edmund Hillary Fellowship, the Women’s Fund and Loomio.
With a personal meditation practice and passion for mindfulness and wellbeing, Madina was inspired after meeting Dr. Daniel Cordaro and learning about the wellbeing revolution that is quietly taking over the world. So, when an opportunity arose to help share the Contentment Foundation’s story, she knew it was one the world desperately needed to hear.
